Why so silent on Syrian* refugees, Cuomo? New York's debate on Syrian refugees continues By Michael Caputo

New York’s debate over allowing alleged Syrian refugees into the state after the Paris attacks continues. Even though at least one of the attackers got to Paris by pretending to be a refugee, Liberals here insist there’s nothing to be worried about.

That’s not true, according to most of the governors in the United States – A large bipartisan group is refusing to allow the alleged Syrians into their states, calling for heightened caution in the wake of Paris terrorism. As for New York governor Andrew Cuomo? He’s being uncharacteristically silent.

Back home in Buffalo, Mark Poloncarz wants the refugees here. Once he claimed he was practically the author of the policy; now he’s saying he’s helpless, but they’re welcome. Luckily, we have many other elected leaders here thinking about our safety.
