A new national poll out today claims half of America would be embarrassed if Donald Trump were president.
With 28 percent support in this poll, Trump leads his competition for the Republican nomination. But Quinnipiac University – a polling group I’m skeptical about – says Trump would make only 23 percent of voters “proud.” Hillary Clinton doesn’t fare well in the survey - 35 percent of voters say they would be “embarrassed” by her as president, while 33 percent would be “proud.”
The poll only has Trump losing to Clinton by seven percent – in other words, he can beat her with a solid campaign. But no matter how you slice the Q poll, it’s not good for Trump and his opponents are gonna dine out on it for the Holidays.
