The Sunday NBC-Youtube Democratic primary debate was a chance to see the candidates in action. That is, if you weren’t doing just about anything else on a holiday weekend with NFL playoff football on tap.
Hillary Clinton pounded Bernie Sanders on Obamacare and guns; Sanders smacked her around on her deep connections to Wall Street. Watching the debate, you could tell Sanders has had it with Hillary Clinton. He might Iowa and New Hampshire, but Hillary is the inevitable nominee. Bernie can’t win the later contests.
Regardless, almost nobody watched the debate and that’s by design – the Democrats don’t want anybody to watch Queen Hillary during a primary when she has to be an uber liberal to beat Sanders. You’ll never hear that from a Democrat, though. It’s inconvenient.
