Ted Cruz's really really bad day In comes Branstad, then Palin By Michael Caputo

This just in: Ted Cruz is toast. The Texas senator was headed to victory in Iowa. Then in just one day, two high-profile Republicans turned his campaign upside down.

First, Iowa’s senior most Republican, Governor Terry Branstad, told voters there to choose literally any candidate but Cruz. Then former Alaska governor Sarah Palin – an endorsement Cruz wanted very much – came out for Donald Trump. With that one two punch, Cruz’s momentum stalled. He had slowed down under fire from Trump on the stump, today Ted Cruz is broken down on the side of the road.

Already the liberals are mocking Palin backing Trump with their tired old memes. They hate her; even moderate Republicans wish she’d go away. But in Iowa, they love her – and now they love Donald Trump.
